One of my contacts at flickr Irina Troitskaya showed us a print at shirt using a freezer paper that you can buy in a supermarket , Now thats something that I’d like to do since its summer here and its the time to wear cool t shirts .
I just bought few heat transfer too ok ok this will make me busy for a month . wait hope i can find some discounted t shirt …and where can I buy that freezer paper in HK???

These are some basic stuff for an illustrator or designer and probably doesnt work for you but seems like I’m going to give it a try , this will make things more easier for me and I guess this will help you specially if you were absent when your teacher thought you about meanings of colors . I think I’m gonna give it a try since I dont have much time to think more of choosing shades of color and I can put my time on different areas of making illustration. .
Do you use references to choose your color effectively when you design and illustrate? I got frozen sometimes when my client start to give me pressure on my deadline and I cant get the job done right specially when I cram .

Choosing color is not an easy task when u have layers and layes of images and compicated background Im not sure if this will help me since I was trying to usually let my creativity runs wild and crazy squeeze that color shade directly from my mind , and now got this book from Page One here in Hong Kong and its called Tasteful Color combinations (naomi Kuno and FORMS Inc./Color Intelligence Institute) Its 168 pages of different combination with categories like “sweet and romantic”, “relaxed and happy”,”mysterious” “prime and charm” under this categories still have attractive labels like “an angel” “Candy”, “Honeymoon”, “Robot” etc. I’m sure this book is not new but there must be lots of this in the market in different presentation and publisher. This is not a review of the book and I’m not a seller of this book but I just want to share it with you .

Cyclops, I’ve been wanting to color this , and this time I colored this 2 x , My computer freezes suddenly not sure whats causing it , but most of the third party software auto update even microsoft windows xp update just recently makes my pc unstable , lots of softwares are so greedy that they are almost wanted to run anytime to update , quicktime , explorer, apple, …its really so annoying . I dont even have a chance to save my drawing and no temp files that photoshop cs left for me to at least give justice to my simple coloring. Anyway , i know I cant do nothing about it , just redraw it and I guess its better than the first one .
I prepared the first one to print and shot some photo because Im planning to upload it to my etsy shop , but its all useless ,I have to start and paint and shoot photo again , finally after half day in the afternoon finally its up .

Oh , I forgot, some of the brushes I used are from DUKAL’s free brushes that you can find in his blog. He’s very good !
