New Zealand Singer/ Songwriter Tim Walker inspired me to fit in one of my character design  for his song “lullabies”.

With mtv you can easlily create lots of images ideas for it and I enjoyed working for this project. I draw doodles and I send them back to Tim and from then on I cant stop working on it and in a few days I got color drawings and some animation test . Since all the drawings are done all in paper I have to make use of a 3d software to move the characters than to draw more keyframes . Its not a new technique but this is like a cardboard style in layers where images are mapped in planes in a 3d space.  I also use Pencil animation software for some organic looking elements .I also make use of my favorite Dukal”s brushes

I dont want to have a very disney style animation but I wanted to do it like shortcut and raw and wants to keep the feeling of raw and rough . and I watch over some colors that I need to use for backgrounds . Each shots was fun seeing them move in full colors everyday.

I wish to work on more videos like this in the near future so I created Like5.co to put together some of my full animated work in the future.
